The Lima Driving Park, which stood on the site now occupied by Lima Memorial Hospital, was home to the Allen County Fair in the years before and after the turn of the century. The grandstands were built by the Lima Driving Park Co., a group of local horse enthusiasts, around 1903. The Driving Park was razed in 1927. Courtesy of the Allen County Historical Society.
