No. 2: The telephone call to Barry Crites, 70, of Elida, came out of the blue. An Indiana man who owned a 1957 Corvette convertible that Crites had tried to buy years earlier was now ready to sell. Crites already owned a 1964 Corvette convertible, but decided two Vettes are better than one.
